The Faith Formation Ministry coordinates a number of classes and programs. Here at St. Edward Church, there are two programs to educate our children in the faith. These are the heritage program, and the parent as Catechist Program. Textbooks and curricula in all programs are based on the guidelines as set forth by the Diocese of Bridgeport. All programs focus on the spiritual development of children and their families. The Faith Formation program also encompasses youth sacramental programs.
In addition to the formation of youth, the Faith Formation office also provides opportunities for adults to grow in the knowledge and appreciation of the faith through a regular series of topics and texts.
